Forrest has spent much of his career helping non-profit and institutional clients balance programmatic and strategic goals with technical and budgetary realities. He champions a data-driven approach to understanding program needs, and a collaborative, integrated design process. He has a wide range of experience working with private and public clients from the non-profit sector. He has particular experience in early childhood education and with complex renovations and additions projects.
Forrest joined CAST in 2008 and became a principal in 2014. Prior to joining CAST, he worked with Schacht | Aslani Architects in Seattle and Torres/LaPeña Arquitectos in Barcelona, Spain. Forrest is a registered architect in the State of Washington and is a LEED AP BD+C. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
